Duhamel & Duhamel was started in 1957 by Joseph O. Duhamel. Peter J. Duhamel joined the company in 1969 and he purchased the business in 1981. Since the beginning it has evolved from a company serving a small portion of Connecticut to serving the entire state. Being the largest and oldest appraisal firm in Connecticut, we are proud of our longevity and continual service. When calling Duhamel you will reach a professional, courteous and knowledgeable individual whose dedication is providing excellent customer service. In an industry where things don't always go smoothly we take immediate action to resolve any issues. Donna Noone is our office manager and she joined Duhamel and Duhamel in 1995. Glenn Hogan joined the firm in 1996 and he is the supervisor of the independent appraisers. Duhamel and Duhamel is licensed by the state of Connecticut and a member of the Independent Auto Damage Appraisers Association (IADA). Our independent appraisers are I-Car and ASE certified, with a commitment to continually expand their knowledge by attending the latest I-Car courses. They have a combined total of over 200 years experience.
